anHello everyone, 'tis I, Lify. Since this next week is going to be entirely dedicated to Harry Potter on my account, I've decided to hop on ye old bandwagon and do the Harry Potter Tag! Let's grab some Gillyweed and dive right in, shall we?
1) Favorite Book?
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I'm well aware that many people choose this as their least favorite book in the series, but this book means a lot to me. My favorite character in the whole series was introduced in this book. Along with that, Order of the Phoenix was the first book that I ever cried actual tears of sadness while reading.
2) Least Favorite Book?
Ugh...I don't like choosing between my babies..but I guess if I had to pick one...*uncomfortable grumbling* Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I know. I'm a horrible person. But this book doesn't have any major things happen, until you read/see the play. Of course, I care about Cedric Diggory, and Cho Chang. But I suppose other than that, nothing truly happens.
3) Favorite Movie?
Now, this is going to make no sense to any of you. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Yes, allow me to explain. I'm a sucker for beautiful effects. And this movie- damn those effects. From the dragons to the merpeople. It really was beautifully created.
4) Least Favorite Movie?
Damn. This one is hard. Maybe Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. The only thing is, Alan Rickman was fucking amazing in that film. Along those lines- I'm about to get really off topic. As for an overly-obsessed Harry Potter fan, I will always remember where i was when he died. But anyways, yes. That would be my least favorite movie.
5) Favorite Quote?
"Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have."
6) Favorite Weasley?
Is it wrong to say that I like Percy? I like his attitude, he kind of reminds me of myself. But I also favor Bill, don't ask me why. I do not know.
7) Favorite Female Character?
Luna Lovegood. I love her. Of course, Hermione is up there as well, but Luna is my favorite. She lives in her own world and escapes from the scary place known as reality. Her voice is beautiful and wether or not you believe me, without Luna, Harry wouldn't have found the Ravenclaw Diadam.
8) Bellatrix Lestrange. I have a odd liking to her. She has so much character and you try so hard to hate her, but you just can't. I'm also quite partial to Delphini Diggory.
9) Favorite Male Character?
Remus "Moony" Lupin. He is so utterly strong and had so many personal and internal struggles. Him being a werewolf and having to learn to overcome that to protect the ones he loved shows real strength and character.
10) Favorite Professor?
Minerva McGonagall.
This. Character. Boi. At times of need, she's always there. And let's be honest, everyone loves her sense of humor. In the last book, when she challenges to duel Snape in Harry's place. Dear. Lord. Yes. Vote McGonagall 2K17.
11) Would You Rather A) Wash Snape's Hair Or B) Listen To Lockhart Rant About Himself?
Wash Snape's hair. That would take a maximum of 15 minutes. While having to listen to Gilderoy might have me begging for death.
12) Would you rather duel A) Bellatrix or B) An Angry Molly?
Bellatrix for sure. Not only do I have a strange liking to Bellatrix, but trying to duel against any angry mother...they will kill you. I also feel that even though Bella is a total wild card, she is very bouncy and in my opinion, easier to hit.
13) Would You Rather Get To Hogwarts Via A) A Flying Car Or B) The Hogwarts Express?
Hogwarts Express all the way. For multiple reasons. Firstly, being on that train I feel for me would be an amazing experience. Secondly, the flying car would be a disaster. I can't even drive a normal car, let alone one in the air. Lastly, if you have read/seen Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, we all know what happens when you try to leave the train...
14) Would You Rather A) Kiss Voldemort Or B) Give Umbridge A Bubble Bath?
This may sound awful-but I'd rather kiss Voldy. There'd be no way in hell I could deal with Umbridge for that long. However, I feel like kissing Voldemort would be strange. You'd tilt your head to prevent bumping noses, and then remember, he has no nose.
15)Would You Rather A) Ride A Hippogriff Or B) Ride A Firebolt?
Hippogriff for sure. No doubt. You saw how much fun Harry had on the back of Buckbeak. Plus, that'd make me feel so free. On a broom I feel is almost made for one thing, Quidditch.
16)Is There Any Character You Feel Different About In The Films?
I feel like everyone knows the answer to this one...Ginny. Book Ginny and Movie Ginny act so different it's almost like you're looking at two separate characters.
17) Is There A Movie You Preferred Over The Book?
Nah. Books will always be better.
18) Richard Harris Or Michael Gambon As Dumbledore?
Richard Harris literally was Albus Perceval Wolvrick Brian Dumbledore. But in all honesty, both were amazing.
19) Top Thing (Person Or Scene) That Wasn't In The Movies That Should Have Been?
Winky the house elf. I mean, come on Warner Brothers. You missed out on a female house elf with a drinking problem. What were you thinking? She hiccupped in every sentence. Pure gold.
20) If You Could Remake Any Of The Harry Potter Movies, Which One Would It Be?
Maybe Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Just make the scene where they meet Luna more detailed and book accurate. Gotta love Luna.
21) Which House Would You Be A Part Of?
Ravenclaw!
22) Which House Were You Sorted Into On Pottermore?
Ravenclaw *caw* *caw*
23) Which Class Would Be Your Favorite?
Probably either Charms or Divination. On one hand, Charms would teach me amazingly helpful spells and whatnot. But on the other hand, Divination would help me see into the future. Or maybe it's just because watching Professor Trelawney teach her class would be very entertaining.
24) Which Spell Would Be The Most Useful To Know?
I mean, Accio for sure. Who wouldn't want to never have to worry about loosing anything ever again. But then again, Alohamora would be pretty helpful.
25) Which Character Would You Become Instant Friends With?
I'd personally like to think Luna and I would be best friends. But in all honesty, probably either Cho or Ron. Cho because we are in the same house and we both have exceedingly logical thought processes. Ron...well...because we both can never stop eating.
26) If You Could Own One Of The Three Deathly Hallows, Which Would It Be?
Probably invisibility cloak. I feel like that would be the most handy.
27) Is There Any Aspects Of The Books You'd Like To Change?
Nope. The books are beautiful in every way shape and form. Nothing that anyone could change could make them better.
28) Favorite Marauder?
It's a tie. I love Moony with all my little heart, but Padfoot is just so perfect too. *cough* *cough* Wolfstar *cough* *cough*
29) If You Could Bring One Character Back To Life, Who Would It Be?
I know this is going to make me seem awful, and I just finished talking about how much I love Sirius and Remus. But I would bring back Fred Weasley. Only because even though Harry and everyone else was in intense pain when both Moony and Padfoot died...George could never produce a Patronus charm ever again. The entire Weasley family would never be the same. So yeah, Fred.
30) Hallows Or Horcruxes?
That's easy. Hallows. Horcruxes means literally killing people to split your soul to attempt to live longer. Just no...

Wow. Dear god. I suck at writing journal entries. I had this one all types out and then my laptop glitched and I had to rewrite the whole damn thing. A++ Lify. Well, here are some answers to questions I've been asked. I won't be posting names due to some people who wished to be kept anonymous. But I will be starting a 'Ask Blueray Blog' so please ask me questions for that as well.
How Did You First Become A Part Of The MLP Fandom And Who Is Your Favorite MLP Character?
Well, when I was younger, I was obsessed with The G3 Versiok of MLP. Collected the figures, watched the show, I loved it. And when I heard about Friendship is Magic, I became all excited about a new show about my favorite magical horses. As for my favorite character, I like Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Derpy, Dr. Whooves, Lyra and BonBon and Lightning Dust. Lmao I don't know why I like Lightning Dust.
How Much Do You Love Me?

What Bands/Music Do You Listen To?
Great question! I normally sit the small corner of Alternative music. I listen to Panic! At The Disco's old albums. (Not the newer ones *gag*) and a lot of Fall Out Boy. I'm also partial to musicals and Mother Mother.
What Are Your Other Hobbies Other Than Drawing.
Ha, I don't have many. I try to act, but I've been told by professional judges that I'm not very good. I can't sing, I sound like a dying chicken caught in a fan. I do enjoy Cosplaying with my girl Flax, and I think we're pretty good at that.

Just call me Lify. Although it's not my real name, 'Lify' was a nickname that my favorite teacher gave me. It's a shortened version of my last name with a 'y' at the end. Most of my friends call me Lify anyways.

And then those thoughts branch out and I begin to think of reality and everything I've succeeded or failed at. And then I begin to think of people who I care about and things I've done. Those eventually turn into me thinking about intense chain events that have lead me to where I am today.
